Cranberry Onion Pork Recipe

I don't know where Mom got the recipe. She heard it on a PBS show - I think.
Pork goes best with this, but I believe you can use beef as well.

Pork - we've used a pork loin roast of (approx.) 2-3 lbs as well as bone-in country style pork ribs
1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 pkt Onion soup mix

*this works best in the oven with cast iron.
Dump everything into a high sided cast iron pot  (we use one with a lid)
Only if using a pork loin roast, add a small amount of water. Adding water to the ribs just makes the sauce watered down.
 *what temp?* I'm guessing 350°f
*How long* until the meat is tender

Maybe I'll Actually Stay Active Now

Every year I say I'm going to do a better job of keeping this blog updated.

And every year so far, I've not even posted...

Since my last post, I moved back to my childhood home. (Trusting God to give me grace in the doing. And to show me WHY He said to move.)
The infamous 2020 happened. I grew my biggest ever garden. And grew new things... Got to operate a gas log splitter for the first time. And decided I like the workout!
I learned that good friends are more to be treasured than fine gold. And that being a friend is actually work. But that it is TOTALLY worth it.
That Jesus wants to use me more than I ever imagined. He is still in the business of answering prayers and working miracles.
That I CAN (with loads of help!) pull off catering for a wedding. It was yummy, and fabulous.
That a big dog is actually pretty stinkin' cool to have. Even if he is overprotective! Also the cute factor helps.
